  • What is it and how does it work?
  • The BLOCKBUSTER® Express kiosk is a DVD rental kiosk for easy and convenient movie rentals. Just Select, Swipe and Take your movie. Browse through the movies. Select the title you want to rent. Once you’ve made your selection, proceed to the “Checkout” screen. Swipe your credit card and take your movie home.
  • How much do movie rentals cost?
  • $1 per day per movie. The first day rate covers your rental until 7pm the following day. Additional day rates of $1/day will be accumulated and charged upon the return of the DVD (to the same credit card used to rent the DVD)
  • When and where do I return my movie?
  • To return a DVD, go to any participating store with a BLOCKBUSTER® Express kiosk during the store operating hours and place the DVD in the return slot. It’s that simple. Rental charges are calculated based on the 7pm return cut off time.
  • How do I pay for movies?
  • By credit or debit card. BLOCKBUSTER® Express kiosks accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and debit cards with a Visa or MasterCard credit logo.
  • Do you have to be a member?
  • No! There are no forms to fill out.
  • What are Promo Codes and how are they used?
  • A Promo Code is a discount on a movie rental. To use a Promo Code, first select the movie you want to rent and place it in your “Shopping Cart” (on the touch screen on the kiosk). During the “Checkout” process you will be prompted to enter a Promo Code. The movie will be discounted and your total will appear before you finish checking out at the kiosk.
  • How do I get a receipt for my transaction?
  • Customers will receive electronic rental receipts as long as they register their email address at the end of their transaction. In addition, a receipt can be retrieved and emailed to you when you call our toll-free 1-877 Customer Service number listed on the kiosk.
  • How many movies can I rent?
  • Up to 3 DVD’s can be rented per customer at any given time. Once a movie is returned, another can be rented.
  • What if the kiosk won’t accept my DVD return?
  • If for some reason the kiosk is unable to accept a return DVD, simply call the toll-free 1-877 Customer Service phone number and take the DVD to the front counter where a store employee will hold it until the issue is resolved. Once you have contacted Customer Service, your transaction will be closed and the appropriate rental charges will be applied. PLEASE remember to call Customer Service or you will continue to be charged for the rental.
  • What if I lose the DVD or choose to keep it for my personal collection?
  • At the end of 25 days, the extra day charges will cease and your credit/debit card will be charged a one time fee of $25 per DVD and you may keep the DVD (if was not lost).
